Is this a good thing or a bad thing? From the perspective of him actually being a judge, at least he's qualified on paper. At least now the efforts to shoot him down can be wasted on Partisanship. That really does make for a cleaner slugfest, doesn't it.
The thing for me is, with all the other fireworks going on in DC right now, picking a fresh fight with a conservative nominee just doesn't seem like the brightest thing to do right now.
