Important news this weekend consisted of reporting the criticism of Representative Stark’s SCHIP speech on the floor of the house, the regurgitation of the same Iraq "facts" and the outing of Dumbledore. Yes, Dumbledore’s gay and if there is anyone in the USA who doesn’t know who Dumbledore is I don’t know how you missed it because it was widely reported and seemed to edge out less important news, like the big demonstration in Washington, D. C. October 20, 2007.
Demonstration? Washington, D. C.?
Yes. It seems there was an anti-globalization march on the streets of Washington before Saturday's International Monetary Fund and World Bank meetings that "turned violent" and demonstrators smashed shop windows.
If this was reported in the media, I certainly missed it so I checked the news sites on line (not Fox, if they did report it I would just have to verify from other sources anyhow) and received that "no information found". I then googled netwide and still drew a blank, so if anyone knows of a news source that covered it, I would appreciate your posting it.
This is what I did find, video proving that it isn’t just imagination, although obviously not important enough for the media to report on.
