Procrastination is a common activity with me.
Things I'm procrastinating on:
Finishing my book review for tomorrow.
Revising the final chapter of my dissertation/book-manuscript-to-be-hopefully-if-I-ever-quit-procrastinating.
I spent the day procrastinating about going to the gym, and finally went at the last minute, making this diary late even though I had it mostly done.
I need a snack and it needs to be soon so I'm not eating too close to bedtime but I don't want to eat what's in the office but am procrastinating about going to CVS.
What are you procrastinating on?
DHinMI drew my attention to this assumption-defying exchange between texas hostage and HarveyMilk.
In the midday linky thread, Spit kicked off an interesting discussion of class and voting patterns.
noweasels was a comment-mining hero today:
this comment from TC's own beloved asimbagirl in gchaucer2's amazing wrap-up diary after the incredible 110-hour fireblog; well it says what it says.
I would also like to recommend this comment which was made by kossack dogkeeper who refuses to post her own comments or recommend her own daughter's excellent and/or not-so-excellent diaries.
Opinionated Ed has, well, a pretty smart opinion.
Carolita was pretty well on top of things, too:
ActivistGuy takes a profound look at the society we are leaving to our children in Nightprowlkitty's See, That Right There...
It's The Raven vs. Andrew Sullivan... and the winner -- Ding! Ding! Ding! -- The Raven with a knockout punch in webranding's Bill Maher 'New Rules'
CTLiberal:
I posted a diary last night on phobias and vickie feminist gave wonderful advice on looking at pictures to overcome fear, but trivium's reply made me laugh out loud.
Cedwyn nominates this by fiona2.
St. Louis Woman:
Webranding has a terrific diary about Bill Maher's New Rules segment. In a lively discussion concerning the Global War on Terror and fear, Tanya made a short, insightful and penetrating comment suggesting what we should be afraid of.
