In your opinion, what's the worst single thing the Bush regime has done? I got to thinking about this question and realized that:
- The list of bad stuff is pretty darned long.
- It was awfully hard to weigh or measure which of the regime's deplorable actions is the worst of all.
A poll follows below the fold. I've omitted any answer like "all of the above" to encourage an effort on your part to identify what you consider to be the regime's worst action or policy. Use your own criteria and explain the basis of your choice if you so desire. And if you feel the need to indicate more than one bad action or policy, feel free to do so in a comment.
Yoda said "Do or do not. There is no 'try.'" Maybe there is no "worst," either when picking from such an egregious assortment, but perhaps the effort to weigh and measure has a value in itself.
Note: I constructed this poll in part as a personal exercise in defining all the things about Bush's regime that disturb me. Perhaps you'll find the exercise useful too, as a way of examining and categorizing the sources of your indignation.
Of course, I ran out of spaces before I could list everything--I've compressed related things into single categories where I can-- and I have surely overlooked some things that may be disturbing to you. Please free to indicate omissions by chosing "Other" and, if you like, explaining your viewpoint below. If a pattern emerges rather than a scattered shotgun blast, perhaps it will tell us something about what Kossacks really find most disturbing about Bush and his administration.
Have at it if you dare.
