Like many of you, I felt Rudy Giuliani responded well on 9/11, leading the city out of the disaster (took Bush 3 days to get there, didn't it??).
However, Giuliani has since IMHO exploited 9/11 for his own ego & political ambitions. And now I'm very bothered by how much he is profiting from the tragedy:
Giuliani rakes in cash from Terror speeches:

Rudy Giuliani has tarnished his shining armor in certain circles by charging huge speaking fees for addressing terror-stricken areas on dealing with attacks.
I am all for capitalism. However, to charge $85,000 to a group of people who have just be devasted by a terror attack just seems very exploitive to me.
It's high time for Rudy to stop treating 9/11 as if it was about him & to use it to create this aura about him.
He did well but he was the front-man for millions of police officers, fire-fighters and a city that just wasn't going to quit & was determined to survive & rebuild itself.
And, Rudy, if you keep exploiting this situation, you will tarnish your image completely:
"For some people here, he is still quite a hero, But others see him as exploitative and greedy."
Imagine what $85,000 could do for the terror victims in London? IMHO, I think Rudy needs to give back that $85,000 to those Londoners.
Any body willing to call Rudy's office & demand it?

Also, I don't think Rudy's going to be Pres. A few days do not fix a flawed politician. Also, Kerik hurt him. & finally, i think people will want to forget 9/11 by then...for good or ill.
