There is nothing like a time change to give you that extra productive hour in the morning. I occasionally like to take a glimpse at other opinions and found my daily scare quotient filled early on the Atlas Shrugs page. Apparently, my own city has three active terrorist organizations, or at least it did 4 or 5 years ago...
I apologize, but as this is my first post, you will have to follow the links to see the images. The first is Atlas Shrugs. Have your morning coffee before going onto this site, and just scroll down to the "Uh ....about that Southern Border" piece. As you pass the other pieces you are going to get a great idea of what to expect.

The map is what really sells the piece for me. The threat of domestically active terrorists is so immediate the author posted a map from 2002-2003. For more fun, notice the sources. Perhaps someone with a little more time can give us a diary on Steve Emerson, but with credintials like "The New Republic Online", "National Review Online", "U.S. News and World Report", and interviews on FOX and in "The Conservative Beacon" you know it must be a moderate view. (This information is from a quick look at Emerson's website.

Also adding to the value of the map are those "independent investigators" and "news agencies"
Take a look at this map and compare it to a 2004 Electoral College map (There is a link at the bottom of this paragraph). Someone who is a little paranoid might ask if there is a subliminal message about adding some red. A true patriot might ask what Bill Richardson is doing so well. [I am not shilling for Richardson, that statement was at least a little sarcastic.] (Below is a link to an electoral college map from the Online NewsHour.)

As we continue reading articles and blogs about the march to war with Iran, I believe that these are the sly little pushes that are going to convince some of our more conservative friends that this is a good idea. Notice the dated (and dubious) source material. Notice the vague, shadowey threat of Islamist violence.
We have to push a true dialogue, and we have to push our officials not to so easily slide into the same mistake.
