Prior to September 11, 2001:

  1. Ignore the terrorism threat.
  1. Install George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney into place as President of the U.S.
  1. Destroy America’s military, economy and infrastructure.
  1. Create the ideal circumstances for an attack.

After September 11, 2001:

  1. Make sure that all of my relatives and connections are not questioned about the September 11 attack on America.
  1. Make sure that I, Osama bin Laden, am not captured at Tora Bora.
  1. Divert attention away from me and the Taliban to Iraq and get rid of my enemy, Saddam Hussein.
  1. Remove American military forces from Saudi Arabia.
  1. Become entangled in an occupation of Iraq and destroy America’s military.
  1. Borrow money to spend trillions of dollars on an occupation of Iraq and ruin America’s economy.
  1. Launch an attack on my other enemy, Iran.
  1. Make sure that oil rises to $100/Barrel.

Clinton was taunted because of his concern about Osama bin Laden and America was distracted by attacks against Clinton because of Monica Lewinsky and there was a lengthy attempted impeachment of Clinton. Richard Mellon Scaife was behind these Clinton attacks. Was Scaife a bin Laden collaborator?

Even so, Clinton and Al Gore posed a danger to Osama bin Laden’s agenda, and it was very important that Gore be prevented from becoming president. The ideal candidate was George W. Bush because the Bush Family fortunes had been linked to the bin Laden Family fortunes for decades. GWB was ideal because he destroyed everything he touched and if he became president of the United States he would serve to destroy the U.S. Richard B. Cheney, with his close associations to oil and Saudi Arabia, would serve to execute the destruction of the U.S.

Bush and Cheney were duly installed.

However, some other things had to occur. Twenty-eight Advanced Intelligence Warnings of an attack on the U.S. had to be ignored:

But there had to be a direct attack on America to put that nation in panic mode. An attack which was facilitated by some war games executed by Dick Cheney on September 11, 2001, preventing NORAD from effectively countering the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on that same day. Ironically, George Herbert Walker Bush was meeting with Osama bin Laden’s half brother in the Ritz Carlton hotel in Washington, DC on behalf of the Carlyle Group at the same time as the attacks.

The United States went into panic mode. All flights were grounded. All flights except, on September 13:

TAMPA -  The twin-engine Lear jet streaked into the afternoon sky, leaving Tampa behind but revealing a glimpse of international intrigue in the aftermath of terrorist attacks on America.

The federal government says the flight never took place.

But the two armed bodyguards hired to chaperon their clients out of the state recall the 100-minute trip Sept. 13 quite vividly.

In the end, the son of a Saudi Arabian prince who is the nation's defense minister and the son of a Saudi army commander made it to Kentucky for a waiting 747 and a trip to their homeland.

The hastily arranged flight out of Raytheon Airport Services, a private hangar on the outskirts of Tampa International Airport, was anything but ordinary. It lifted off the tarmac at a time when every private plane in the nation was grounded due to safety concerns after the Sept. 11 attacks.

Local and federal authorities will say little about the flight.

"It's not in our logs ... it didn't occur,'' said Chris White, spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration's regional office in Atlanta.

There were other flights at about the same time, secretly rushing other Saudi officials and members of Osama bin Laden’s family out of the United States to prevent their questioning.

American forces are sent to Afghanistan to round up the Taliban and Osama bin Laden but Osama bin Laden magically eludes capture at Tora Bora in late November of 2002.

Soon thereafter, a constant barrage of misinformation was launched to link Iraq to September 11, 2001 and the U.S. Congress, still in a panic mode, fell for it. U.S. military forces invaded Iraq on March 19, 2003.

At some point, American military forces were discreetly removed from Saudi Arabia.

Eight of Osama bin Laden’s goals were accomplished, thanks to George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney.

It remained for Bush to entangle the U.S. military in a never-ending and costly occupation of Iraq to destroy that same military and destroy the American economy because Bush chose to make some costly tax cuts during a time of war–a radical new strategy for warfare–and going on to borrow billions and billions of dollars to finance the invasion and occupation, not to mention the extremely costly war racketeering associated with the Iraq adventure. Billions of dollars disappeared. The indebtedness of the United States soared. Bush borrowed more and more money from China, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, others, placing the U.S. economy and the U.S. dollar in increasing jeopardy.

Our stock market is plummeting. The value of the dollar is plummeting.
Congratulations, Osama bin Laden. George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney have served you well.

And, of course, Cheney is diligently working to achieve goal number 11: Attack Iran.

How much is oil right now? Oh, it has dropped to about $95/Barrel right now but I’m sure that’s only temporary.

John Conyers, are you sure you don’t have time to impeach Dick Cheney?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:

It was certainly to Osama bin Laden's advantage to have George W. Bush as president.

I do not claim that bin Laden directly installed Bush, but life was certainly made easier for Bush by certain bin Laden Family financial interventions in Bush's disreputable business past.

And, videotapes of bin Laden also magically appeared when Bush's presidency or re-election was threatened.

If Bush and OBL appear to be serving the same masters, the conclusion to draw is NOT that OBL somehow infiltrated the power structure of the United States.

        •  What about the interests of OBL? (0+ / 0-)

And, I would just like to know why it is that Bush has accomplished so many of OBL's goals at the expense of the United States?

          •  Well... (0+ / 0-)

As soon as we talk about OBL, we're in a realm of pure myth, as far as I'm concerned. The MSM has put out all sorts of information about OBL and al Qaeda that is, quite frankly, false. Many of the tapes attributed to him are highly suspect, like the last one with the short black beard.

OBL, if he's still alive(and I don't believe he is), doesn't have the ability to direct the US government to do anything. Prince Bandar said: "He wouldn't impress me as somebody who would be a leader for anything. Actually, at that time, I thought he couldn't lead eight ducks across the street." OBL was funded and supplied by the CIA when he was fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan, yet he never even knew that he was working for the Americans. OBL never knew what 'al Qaeda' was either- that name was one he first heard from the West, IIRC.

I'd recommend the documentary series The Power of Nightmares from the BBC... It deconstructs the al Qaeda myth somewhat to get closer to reality.

Here's part 3, the most pertinent:

  •  When Is Osama bin Laden Going to Appear? (0+ / 0-)

This is a column published September 6, 2006 in the Federal Way Mirror:

It’s almost time for elusive Al-Qaeda chieftain Osama bin Laden to make one of his infrequent appearances, suddenly, magically, before an election that is proving to be too close for Karl Rove’s comfort. Who can forget bin Laden’s surprising arrival on our television screens on October 29, 2004, evidently partly for a Halloween haunting and partly to panic American voters into keeping George W. Bush in place?

He was enormously successful in making this 2004 appearance and his appearance assured that Bush would stay in place to confound world peace and continue to win enemies of the United States in the Middle East and elsewhere.

But the congressional elections of 2006 are proving to be far more problematical than even Karl Rove could have forecast.  The American voter is hugely unhappy with George W. Bush and with the never ending situation in Iraq.  Events are not proceeding nicely in Lebanon and even the timid New York Times has had the courage to question Israel’s use of nasty cluster bombs on the civilian population of Israel, cluster bombs manufactured in the United States, by the way, and you can jolly well believe that the war industries of the United States are profiting quite nicely from the situation in Lebanon and elsewhere in the Middle East. All that unrest! All that profit!

Happy times for the war profiteers and their friend George Bush.  Bush was even so unfortunate as to slip up in one of his relatively unscripted press conferences and say, "Sometimes I'm happy." To give him his due he did quickly recover to add, "This is -- but war is not a time of joy. These aren't joyous times. These are challenging times, and they're difficult times, and they're straining the psyche of our country. I understand that."

Forgive me if I credit Bush with little understanding.

But, in the meantime, everything is going swimmingly along to Osama bin Laden’s heart’s desire.  United States military forces are largely gone from Saudi Arabia–bin Laden accomplished that with his September 11, 2001 attack on our nation.  His most formidable enemy in the Middle East, Saddam Hussein, former dictator of Iraq, has very nicely been removed from that post and Iraq is well on its way to becoming another Muslim theocracy, with the attendant subjugation of women under the burqua, locked in their homes, forbidden access to education and professional careers.

The neglect of the situation in Afghanistan because Bush chose to divert our military forces from the pursuit of Al-Qaeda and Taliban in that nation to his far, more personal diversion in Iraq has largely led to the weakening of the supposedly "democratic" regime of that nation into a chaos ruled by tribal warriors and the regrouping Taliban.  Schools built in Afghanistan for the education of women are under constant threat of violence and destruction by the reinstallation of anti-women Sharia law in that realm.

Even the fabric of the infrastructure of America is tattered and torn and battered, which can only serve the ends of Osama bin Laden.  All of our resources are diverted to the ongoing prosecution of the occupation of Iraq.  Our military forces are beaten and weary and forced into endlessly returning to serve again in Iraq long after they had thought that their servitude in the United States military according to contract had been completed. They are also going into battle still poorly served by the equipment auxiliary to combat, armor, helmets which serve to protect a soldier’s head from concussion, armored vehicles.  Scandals arise regarding this neglect of our soldiers, but quite handily other events which the so-called "liberal" media deems more important to our nation interest intervene to divert national interest away from our national interest to detailed reports on every second of the life of JonBenet Ramsey’s supposed murderer, John Mark Karr.

Alas, because of the idiocy of our media, we know more about Karr than we do about our national situation.  Osama bin Laden loves that.

Richard Mellon Scaife was behind these Clinton attacks. Was Scaife a bin Laden collaborator?

I kind of like the notion, but that's based on my detestation of Scaife, not on any evidence.  Regrettably, I have to conclude this is just another case of Scaife-goating.
