It really pisses me off that even now many Democrats continue to play into the Republicans by continuing the Dean and Gore are crazy meme and saying crap as shown below. We need to fight this damn thing, but I am not sure how.

[Edwards] is charismatic and articulate and has the blue-collar roots to turn out a vote in some "battleground" states like Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and, yes, Oregon. Now that Gore and Dean have all but eliminated themselves from campaigning by nuclear meltdowns.

Gore's over-the-top delivery is a warning to all less-than-eloquent speakers striving to be Tony Blair. It is better to be dull than to remind people of Dean after the Iowa Caucus. Losing your audience is preferable to losing your dignity.

In recent weeks, Kerry has seemed less concerned with distinguishing himself from Bush than from Al Gore -- specifically the Gore who gave a screaming, arm-flailing speech in which he blistered the president, referred to Abu Ghraib as Bush's "gulag" and seemingly called for half the administration to resign.
"If Democrats wanted a screamer, we would have nominated Howard Dean," said Mickey Rodriguez, an unemployed teacher at the Kerry rally at St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport.
It also pisses me off that some dems actually think Dean and Gore speaking out against Bush is hurting Kerry. How do we fight this bullshit?
But Gore's support of Kerry could backfire on Democrats, said Larry Sabato of the University of Virginia's Center for Politics. "I'm not sure that John Kerry benefits," he said. "It raises questions about who is in charge, and to some degree, Gore's intense attack on Bush contradicts some of what Kerry has been saying."
