From the state where Dan Mongiardo was repeatedly attacked last year for not being a man, for having a limp wrist, for being a switch hitter, from the state that banned any legal protections for gay couples, we now have a law that would
ban any civil rights protections for homosexuals in any city or municipality. That means hard-fought protections earned in Louisville and other cities would be rendered worthless.
I wonder if this has any chance of not passing. That 'save marriage' amendment passed the legislature last year even though Democrats control the house. I wouldn't put it pass the wusses to pass even more hate legislation. Anything to not offend the public. I doubt most people in Kentucky even care about civil protections, but the vocal minority do, and that is who the Kentucky Democrats are beholden to.
