Foreign Policy Background & Positions
This was inspired by Rudy's statements in Iowa last week as reported by Eric Kleefeld at TPM Election Central:
Top Iowa Story: Rudy Attacks Bill Clinton — Plus Russia And China
"Our military is too small to deal with the Islamic terrorism threats," Giuliani said, "but it really is too small to deter would-be aggressors to even think of challenging us. And that's due to Bill Clinton."
Instead, Rudy called for a massive military buildup in order to "send a very strong signal to China and then Russia ... that it doesn't make sense to challenge us."
Without getting all BagnewsNote-ese, I considered using the title "Rudy's Risk", but in the end decided that "Foreign Policy Background & Positions" was better for the juxtaposition with the Risk game board in the image background. (image posted at LOLrudy)
Electile Dysfunction
The GOP candidates continue to present their bloodthirsty, warmongering Republican base a testosterone battle in their competition for who can be worse than Bush. This was an attempt to contrast the radical, aggressive, militaristic positions in foreign policy of Bush and the candidates while playing on Theodore Roosevelt's famous quote. The title was chosen to tie their foreign policy with a electorate that has largely rejected Bush's war and foreign policy. (image posted at LOLrudy)
