Out of Wisconsin. University of Wisconsin
Badger Poll (PDF). MoE 4%. 1/27-2/3.
Kerry 35
Clark 11
Edwards 9
Dean 8
This is Dean's must-win state. To make matters worse, Dean's favorable/unfavorable/don't know numbers are 18/34/46. Kerry's are 42/18/39. Dean's high unfavorables everywhere give him little room to manouver.
Bush isn't looking so hot in Wisconsin, though. That's good news for all of us around here.
Meanwhile, the Elway Poll tries to poll the WA caucuses. MoE 5%. 1/27-29.
Kerry 40
Dean 13
Edwards 11
Clark 8
Verdict? There's a reason Dean is focusing on Wisconsin, and not Washington anymore.
The Elway poll tells us Washington is safely Blue:
Certain Bush 23
Inclined to Bush 13
Inclined to Democrat 18
Certain Democrat 32
Third Party 5
And Michigan is
beyond blowout proportions. They should just cancel the darn thing and give Kerry all the delegates.
EPIC/MRA poll. MoE 4.9%. 2/4-5. (1/20-25)
Kerry 62 (37)
Dean 13 (14)
Edwards 11 (14)
Clark 5 (10)
So there you have it. Unless Clark and Dean get out of the race soon, start getting used to Kerry being our nominee.
Heck, start getting used to "President John Kerry", because Bush is going down regardless who wins the nomination.
(Thanks to Polling Report for the Bush numbers in the Elway Poll.)
