Our next installment of the Virtually Speaking interview series takes place TONIGHT, Thursday, at 6pm Pacific/9 pm Eastern.
We are very excited that DemFromCT can join us to talk about public health policy, in particular preparedness for a pandemic. He and I have been trading comments on some skepticism I have about this, so this is going to be an especially interesting discussion.
All skeptics are welcome. He's promised to set us straight, and he'll give us the story in real time.
The Virtually Speaking studio can be found via our Second Life URL (SLURL) here. You must be a registered user of Second Life to attend the interview. Registration is free, and available at the above URL.
And we have more great guests coming up. Next week, Larry LaRocco will be by to talk about his run for the ID Senate seat--the one Larry Craig left in an airport in Minneapolis.
And the following week, Matt Stoller and Tim Wu will talk about net neutrality, and the telecom oligopoly--how it's hurting our economy and our freedoms.
Next month, the Rockridge Institute will provide three panelists of the 3rd of January, including George Lakoff. After that event, we'll have take a look at the IA caucus results, and discuss what they mean.
On January 10, Ned Lamont will stop by.
So join your fellow Kossacks and say hi to the virtual DemFromCT. He sounds at least as good as he writes.
