Lord have mercy.
I mean, Lord have mercy.
What is next? I mean, want a good laugh, follow me over the jump.
What is the necessity in doing this?
Something smelled quite fishy on Blue Hamsphire, the influential liberal blog in the Granite State.
And bloggers at Blue Hampshire were able to trace it back to Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign, which has lost ground to Sen. Barack Obama in a recent state poll.
I went to the link on Blue Hampshire and the "fake posters" was trying a take down of the Edwards Supporters who have been posting there for MONTHS, while trying to spin whatever talking points of the day, to spin!!!!
Yesterday, four readers who created new accounts and recommended pro-Clinton postings were traced back to Clinton's campaign. And those readers, Blue Hampshire noted, didn't disclose their relationship with Clinton. In the blogosphere, there's a word for this frowned-upon behavior: "sock-puppeting."
Wow, from Blue Hampshire, these Clinton Staffers all created accounts, logged on within minutes of each other, and same IP addresses. Which was traced back to them.
Umm, this is the internet age. How can you be out of touch or stupid to do such a thing? And then get busted by being traced back to CLINTON?
Dean Barker, one of Blue Hampshire's editors, wrote last night that the four accounts had been banned from the site. Kathleen Strand, a Clinton staffer, told Barker, he wrote, that "this was not an orchestrated effort but the product of over-eager staffers and volunteers, done without her awareness, and that it will not be repeated."
Umm. This is a pattern with Team Clinton. Kindergate, Email Smearing, Drug Accusations, now not identifying themselves as members of the Clinton Staff. Again, the low level supporters, staffers, we were not aware, blah, blah, blah.
Been there, done that. Team Clinton, you of all people should know about the internet. Remember, they say, Al Gore Invented It!!!!
Update [2007-12-13 16:20:47 by icebergslim]:
Billy Shaheen Resigns from Clinton Campaign, and right fully so.
"I would like to reiterate that I deeply regret my comments yesterday and say again that they were in no way authorized by Senator Clinton or the Clinton campaign. Senator Clinton has been running a positive campaign focused on the issues that matter to America’s families. She is the best qualified to be the next President of the United States because she can lead starting on day one. I made a mistake and in light of what happened, I have made the personal decision that I will step down as the Co-Chair of the Hillary for President campaign. This election is too important and we must all get back to electing the best qualified candidate who has the record of making change happen in this country. That candidate is Hillary Clinton."
Although this was not the diary topic, what happened yesterday, from the former Clinton Co-Chair of New Hampshire and his comments, is relevant. To the continous smears that Barack Obama has had to endure, with the contiuous, "I apologize", from Team Clinton. WORD.
