Its the "end of the year scolding", starting at 10:00 am EST:
"The president will talk about the good, bad and the unfinished when it comes to legislation," White House press secretary Dana Perino told reporters in a conference call Thursday morning.
In his opening remarks, which are expected to last eight minutes, he also will urge Congress to work in 2008 on important legislative matters, and not to be swayed by the fact that it's an election year. ...
He shouldn't be in too much of a cranky mood this morning, though. After all, he did get his war funding without strings attached and I understand that the SCHIP Program will be funded without any increases. I'm sure he'll complain a bit about domestic funding, though. You know - our needs are just not his priority, especially now that he has all of a sudden "found" fiscal conservancy.
C-Span will be carrying the conference. I imagine that CNN and MSNBC will also carry this. Here is a link to the C-Span stream. As usual, please don't post pictures in consideration for our friends on dial-up service.
