A new
poll shows Dean leading in South Carolina:
Dean 16% (9%)
Clark 12% (15%)
Sharpton 12% (9%)
Edwards 11% (12%)
Gephardt 7% (7%)
Lieberman 7% (9%)
Mosely Braun 3% (3%)
Kerry 2% (3%)
Kucinich 1% (1%)
Forget the Sharpton line for Kerry; now he's below the Moseley Braun line.
Dean also leads in favorability, which is surprising, considering that he cannot appeal to Southerners. Dean has a 37% favorability rating, and his net is +13%. Clark's net is slightly higher at +14%, with a favorability rating of 31%. Other nets: Edwards +2% (!), Kerry -10% (!!), Gephardt +3%, Lieberman -1%, Sharpton -24%.
