Despite the wild fluctuations of the
electoral vote calculator, I can't help but watch, if for nothing else, then as a battleground-state indicator. Today is particularly interesting insofar as we are tied, 269-269. So I got to wondering how the House races looked, then realized that it wasn't a straight House vote, but rather each state gets one vote to be balloted in accord with the vote of their House Reps. Does a Democrat even have a chance if it comes down to this? I would say no, but then I think that South Dakota, of all places, would vote for the Democrat, not to mention any shake-ups from the election...
