Lieberman seem more than willing to sell out Reid,Social sucurity, the UN (he will vote for Bolton)and anything or anybody else in order to keep his dream of being Sec. Of Defense alive.
I was just Emailed this text from yesterdays CQ today and thought it should be passed along so all could see just how willing Lieberman is to screw his own party to advance his own ambitions.
Does Sen. Lieberman (D-CT) Support Means Testing?
Every Little Bit of Movement Counts on an Issue as Big as Changing Social Security

Most congressional Democrats haven't had one good thing to say about President Bush's proposal to slow the growth of Social Security benefits for middle- and high-income workers.
But two weeks ago, Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman said he was interested in the idea of indexing benefits according to income. That was just before Bush endorsed it, and Lieberman didn't back away this week.
"One of the questions we have to ask ourselves, in terms of saving Social Security, is whether higher-income people should get less than they would get now, because they don't need it," the Connecticut Democrat said.
Lieberman said the author of the idea, investment firm executive Robert C. Pozen, told him the government spends about $55 billion per year on tax breaks for retirement savings - most of that going to people considered middle- and upper-income.
"The lowest-income people, needless to say, tend not to have 401(k) plans because they don't have money to set aside," Lieberman said. "For me, Social Security is a floor below which we will not let seniors fall. It's most important to put that floor underneath lower- and middle-income Americans."
