I was looking for a good recipe the other night and noticed that the FAQ no longer links to the Troll Recipe Cookbook.
Which meant I had to come up with my own:
False Liberal Recipe
1 False Liberal
1 pound of excuses
2/3 cups of conservatism
2 teaspoons of borrowed logic
1 smidge of universal truths (also borrowed)
37,546 pages of unedited loquaciousness (illegally borrowed)
1 cube of obtuse butter (melted)
1 cup of arrogance (for hardness)
1 sprig of poison oak (for garnish)
Mix everything together, garnish, post.
Get banned.

Now, I'm guessing most everyone knows about the worst recipe of all time (I'm talking lutefisk here):
Lutefisk. (24+ / 0-)
1 kg dried fish
100 g caustic soda
30 liters of water
Saw the fish in suitably sized pieces or leave it whole. Put in water. Leave in water in a cool place for 5-6 days if cut in pieces, 8 days if the fish is whole. Change the water every day.
For the luting use a plastic or stainless steel or enamelled tub (the enamel must be unchipped). Wooden vessels, china or stoneware may also be used.
Place the fish in the tub with the skin side up. Dissolve caustic soda in the water, pour over the fish until covered complete by lut water. Leave the fish in a cold place for 3-4 days.
When the fish is completely luted, it will be well swollen and you should be able to put a finger through it. Rinse the fish and leave in cold water 4-6 days. Change water every day.
If the fish stays in water for too long after the luting, it may be soft and difficult to boil. Test boil a piece, if you are uncertain.
Do not make lutefisk in the warm season.

Which led to a mutual lovefest, which is, of course, what recipes are for between true Kossacks :O))
However, sometimes, there are worse things, imo, than Lutefisk:
Did someone say liver? (9+ / 0-)
Liver Sausage Bologna Loaf
3 slice bologna
3 slice liver sausage
2/3 lb bologna
2/3 lb liver sausage
3 tbsp dill pickle, minced
2 tbsp chili sauce4 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp lemon juice
4 tbsp celery, chopped
2 tsp onion juice
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 loaf unsliced bread
3 tbsp butter
1 tomato wedges
1 stuffed olives
Directions
Put bologna through food chopper; add chili sauce, 2 tbsp mayonnaise, and lemon juice; mix to a smooth paste. Mash live sausage; add pickle, celery, onion juice, Worcestershire sauce, and remaining mayonnaise; mix to a smooth paste. Cut crust from bread, slice in 3 lengthwise slices. Place one slice on baking sheet and spread with bologna paste; top with second slice of bread; spread with liver
sausage paste. Top with remaining slice of bread. Spread entire loaf with butter. Arrange alternate slices of sausage/bologna on top. Bake in moderate oven (350~) 30 mins. Put tomatoes and olives on top.
Garnish with liver.

Left off an instruction there. It's "garnish with liver, then gag."
:O))
Which is not to say there can't be tasty recipes:
That's the idea (3+ / 0-)
but, since you ask...
Crockpot Chocolate Mess
INGREDIENTS:
* 1 pkg. two layer chocolate cake mix
* 3 oz. pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix
* 4 eggs
* 1 cup water
* 2 cups sour cream
* 3/4 cup vegetable oil
* 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
* 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
PREPARATION:
Spray a 4 quart crockpot with non-stick cooking spray and set aside. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix and pudding mix. In a medium bowl, beat the eggs with the water, then add the sour cream and oil and beat until smooth.
Add to the dry ingredients and beat well. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Pour into crockpot. Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until top springs back when touched very lightly with finger. 8-10 servings

Now, I can go on about the wonders of chocolate forever (see jimraff's great chocolate diary here), but, being a vegetarian, I'm simply running out of Braunschweiger and Liver ideas.
Which is worrisome, given the explosion of trolls lately...
So, what's your favorite Troll Recipe?
