I remember Hillary's strong defense of Bill on 60 minutes about 12 years, after the Gennifer Flowers affair blew-up. I think that interview, and Hillary, saved Bill. Americans think there is something wrong with the husband if a wife doesn't publicly "stand by her man" in a time of crisis.
I have heard that tomorow, Judy Dean and Howard Dean are planning an evening press conference. Perhaps this will be a similar moment for the Dean campaign, where doubts about his "anger" can be put to the rest by the person that knows him best.
I saw Judy Dean on TV in Iowa, and she would be a major asset to the Dean campaign, if they chose to go that route. She is a real person, a "plain" person, with a wonderful smile - not a politicans wife. She has a career and is raising a family. I think Americans would love her.
