An announcement in my local newspaper in Southern Westchester, New York, states that:
Elisabeth Bumiller and Steven R. Weisman of the New York Times will address a brunch gathering at Sinai Free Synagogue in Mount Vernon, NY on Sunday, March 6 at 10 am. The subject is "Covering the State Department and the White House During the Second Term of the Bush Administration" an open discussion of the inner workings of the two most active areas of our government.
The public is invited at attend. There is a small admissions charge. Further info is available by contacting the Synagogue.
For those within a reasonable distance, I think attendance would be a great idea. For those who can't attend, please submit ideas or questions that you would like to pose to either of these journalists. Keep 'em clean, please!
