4.4 Million Cowards?
Exactly why will we lose the Iraq War? Why can't even just 100,000 Bush voters of age stand up and be men? Or women? I realize not everyone can physically fight... but certainly 2% more can... 4%... give us somethin' to work with people... come on! You can't all be 400 lb. slobs with anal cysts can you? Hmmmm....? So where are they? Yes folks, it's beyond question. I hate to admit it... but we've got a case of 'The Cowards' on our hands here in America.
So why will we lose the Iraq War? Because the Americans who wanted the war and supported the war apparently don't have the personal integrity to actually fight in the war. Big surprise. And that's the problem with Republicans of course. Zero integrity. Zero guts. Zero real beliefs. Republicans have lost this war. All around. Top to bottom of the filthy rotten tree.
It's my opinion that war is a serious thing. The all volunteer army allows us to use warfare as an economic tool. That's a problem, and it's my opinion that warfare needs to again mean that if you support starting it, you volunteer yourself should your country need you.
And we do. Now. So where are all the Republican voters age 18-24 who are evidently so f'd up in the head as to be Republicans at that age? Are they in the military? And if not, they better have a damn good reason. Not a Rush reason or a Bush reason or a Cheney reason or a Rove reason... etc. A real reason. It's time personal responsibility was a term that applied to Americans, not just our leaders. 4.5 Million young Americans voted for Bush and in so doing they voted to go on as we have, and now those who did vote that way should be the first to go and make sure Iraq is stable. They should go now. We should publicly shame them into going.
I think we need a draft. We honestly do. Any military person will tell you so. We need overwhelming numbers to bring peace and security. There's no other way.
We need a draft or we need to turn it over to someone with those numbers. It's just as simple as that.
Or we do the cowardly thing and wrap it up and go home. I'm all for that. I think the supporters of this war are cowards and we need to turn over all spoils and bear the consequences. If there's justice in this world, America will most likely suffer for what it's done.
But, I do think we either need to get real... or get out. I don't expect Americans to get real any time soon... so I tend to think we should just get out.
But if we were to get real, I think the draft of old... the lottery... that's bullshit.
Those who voted for Bush should be publicly alerted to the fact that their services are required immediately in the U.S. army. Those 18-24 who don't show up are cowards. If it's possible to find them (and I hope to god it still isn't in this Big Brother America... but I have my doubts), I think they should all have to do community service for 5 years up until the War is over.
But I think our legislature should force the military to put out such a call... to all Bush voters. I think these people need to be called out on their failure to support their own military.
If they're too cowardly to show up in person, they should be sending money... there's no reason any soldier shouldn't be a walking tank... not with 4.5 million 18-24 year olds out there too cowardly to back them up for real.
So where are they? The Fighting Keyboardists are a joke. But even more of a joke are all those frathouse business majors who vote Republican but are too cowardly to now back up the war they think they're too good for.
Newsflash. You aren't too good. In fact, you're exactly the type of person the U.S. military needs. So get busy being real... or get busy shutting the fuck up next November.
That's to all 4.5 million of you backstabbing cowards out there age 18-24 who voted for Bush but who are now letting our countrymen die, outnumbered, in the dust. That's on you guys. Cowards, genetic waste... all of you.
