Weekly protests have begun. Today Kicks off Orange Fridays. Sunday is the fourth week of ENOUGH. Join me below the fold as I review diaries of Kossacks who are standing up to say ENOUGH! Join us across the country to persuade our representatives that the unlawful accumulation of power by the White House cannot continue.
If not for Wes Clark Jr. and Cenk Uygur, there wouldn't be an ENOUGH campaign.

The above diaries clearly refer to the ENOUGH campaign inspired by Wes Clark Jr. and Cenk Uygur. Participants are encouraged to wear t-shirts and/or carry signs that say ENOUGH. Be respectful and try to avoid being confrontational. The goal is to build a movement with more and more people to garner media attention and ultimately compel Congress to act. One hour each Sunday from 12:00-1:00. You can go to DFA-Links to find an ENOUGH protest near you. If you don't see one, start your own and let others know about it either here on DailyKos, or at DFA-Links.
I've read about and had experience the past couple weeks with protests where there are only one or two people. That's ok. Don't get discouraged. Are you able to talk to people? Do you find some interest? That's what is needed. This movement will grow. For myself, I missed the first week in San Francsico, and found myself alone the second week. Last week, in addition to an orange t-shirt on which I wrote ENOUGH, I made a poster that said ENOUGH, and listed some of the things I've had ENOUGH of, as I did at the beginning of this diary. People approached me and we talked. This time I also wasn't alone; I met a fellow Kossack who wore an orange t-shirt that called for impeachment and cited afterdowningstreet.org. He carried a sign that said ENOUGH above a red outline of a stop sign. People approached him and talked. While we were the only two participating in the ENOUGH campaign, we did run into one woman walking around through a farmers market in San Francisco carrying a small "Impeach" sign of her own. While having more people stand with you provides some extra support, it only takes one or two.
There have been many other diarists here promoting impeachment and discussing protests. To do a roundup on all of those diaries would be unwieldy to say the least. There are some protest diaries that I do want to mention though. Silence is Complicity: I was so scared! and Update 2: Stirring up the Red Zone, Randian: What's the use in trying?, ca democrat: Our Protest Needs to be Visible 24/7, Bumper Stickers?, freshair2: The public won't go to bad protests, which cites Meteor Blades: Iraq Moratorium: Not Your Parents’ Antiwar Movement, kevin22262: Taking to the Streets ... Literally!, possum: Summer Iraq Project Kicks Off in DE (I was sucked in by the pictures), kavips discusses the same event beforehand: Against the WAR? Come to Wilmington DE this FRIDAY. YOU May Make THE Difference, dancewater: Impeachment protest on the 4th of July, and finally Jethro H from early this morning: Ending the War 25 Feet (or more) Away from the Protest.
With the ENOUGH diaries above and that last chunk, all of these diaries are within the last four weeks. They're talking about action and getting more people aboard. About half of the country right now supports impeachment. Our leadership in the House is reluctant, though. We have to prove to them that they should get over their reluctance. The August recess is approaching. We can meet our representatives at home. We can build our weekly protests. Perhaps some of our reps might even be willing to come out and join us - at the very least to come out and talk to us.
While I can't go over all of the impeachment and protest diaries, I hope I was able to represent all of the diaries that have been inspired by and discuss the ENOUGH protests. If I've missed yours, please let me know in comments below and I'll add it.
Even if you don't go and read each of these diaries, I wanted to demonstrate that there are people taking action. We need you to join us.
[update] davidseth has a diary that went up just a bit before mine about 9/21/07 Is Iraq Moratorium Day (W/ Poll). If I missed others that should be here, let me know in comments. I doubt I can post them all here, but I'll do what I can.
[update 2] I missed Sharon Wraight's diary earlier. It's been added above.
