consul general says aristide still president
does that mean aristide can go back?
what about the reaction of the masses? potential for violence?
and what about that signed resignation?
about that resignation, why did it happen in the middle of the night?
it's not like a rampaging army was moving across the countryside
aristide had already agreed to other compromise arrangements
why not do this latest one (resignation) with the press present? a media conference perhaps?
why the disputed resignation in the middle of the night?
again, it's not like a rampaging army was roaming the countryside
if it's true that we told Aristide many people would die, presumably at the hands of the rebels, aren't we accessories to terrorism?
for, we could have attempted to stop the rebels, rather than being the vehicle for their demands
their demands were for Aristide to resign, and if he didn't, the consequences were violence and death for Haitians
this is terrorism
are we the most powerful force on the planet impotent in the face of these Haitian rebel terrorists?
or, if we were just there to save Aristide, why did we force him to sign a letter of resignation?
such a condition is a policy stance (obviously our troops aren't going to do it on their own, it's ordered from up high), so what's our policy?
Aristide is the elected democratic leader of Haiti.
terrorists forced his exit, and we were complicit - we chose the wrong side
this is a sham
the resignation is a sham
the haitian terrorist rebels are a sham
the american role, or lack of, in this is a sham
