If somehow staying in Iraq until it becomes stable or whatever new goal they perceive will honor those who died, or if removal of troops will make the deaths all for nothing, then how can it ever be argued that the next person's life was worth anything, either?
How many people must die for a broad faced lie before someone says that it is better that people died for a mistake rather than have more die for the same?
How many more lives must it take before people realize that Iraq's current condition is leading it into a serious civil war, with our soldiers just being in the way?
How much longer will people let Bush baby-talk and lull them into agreement that he knows what he's doing and he will come out ahead, before the slaughter will stop?
How many more times will we have a Nixon, a Bush Jr., or any number of right-wing crooks in office before people can sense their kind?
How much longer will we continue to spiral farther down in respect, credibility and deficit before someone realizes that it can be stopped?
All by standing up, demanding information, demanding the truth, demanding honesty and accountability, and questioning the government about EVERYTHING they do . . .
Smear that all you want, but I bet not one right-wing person will honestly engage any of those questions without resorting to an attack, a lie or a misdirection.
