I'm not going to write a long-winded screed here about the death penalty. I'm an absolutist foe - yes, even for the likes of Hitler - but the pros and cons are exceedingly well-known. Indeed, I haven't read a new argument since someone in the 1980s pointed out that opting for the death penalty is more expensive than keeping someone in prison without parole for 50 years.
I'm merely interested in seeing how Kosopotamians as a group come down on the death penalty, especially in light of the recent move by Catholics to step up opposition, which is pushing even the likes of Rick Santorum into rethinking mode.
And, should the Democrats raise this issue again, or avoid it as a vote killer?
Take the poll.
