Gephardt is accusing Dean of being a "fairweather friend" to the American worker.
But is it fair to criticize someone who supported NAFTA as a Governor for opposing it as a candidate?
After all, Vermont greatly benefited from NAFTA, and Dean's major concern was success in Vermont----not the nation-wide impact of the trade pact.
But isn't a Presidential candidate supposed to represent the whole nation?
