I hope this increases awareness about the harm of Bush's stem cell policies. His decision to limit research based on moral concerns is putting U.S. citizens in jeopardy. Fortunatey, California is pushing ahead despite Bush's comments on this issue. But as everyone begins to realize the benefits in this type of research, Bush will be seen for what he is.
I cannot understand why the U.S. is accepting of this backwards approach to science. As Britain, Japan, and others move forward, are we to just sit back and wait for them to lead? Will Bush allow importation of drugs created from Stem Cell's? Or will that be fruit from the poisonous tree? You know, it only takes one bite of that big bad apple, and you are cast out of paradise.
