McCain bemoaned the deficits, and stated tough choices need to be made, twice mentioning that tax cuts were never before enacted while a war was undertaken. He went further to say he hopes the American voters send a message at the ballot box. Is this a veiled message to vote Democratic? That's how I read it.
Kerry was on and was asked about upcoming appriations for the troops and if he would support it NO STRINGS ATTACHED, and he said yes. Therefore, Kerry only voted against the $87B because he was in the primary and knew that would have derailed his nomination. Each time I think he takes one step forward, he takes five back.
