Has to be quick. I'm going to bed.
New Clemson University poll of Republicans, done Jan 9-15, nearly 40 percent of respondents said they're not sure who they'll support in Saturday's SC Republican primary.
24 percent say they may make up their minds within the last 24 hours. (Good luck polling this one.)
Of those expressing a preference:
McCain: 29 percent
Huckabee: 21 percent
Romney: 13 percent
Thompson: 10 percent

Interviewed 450 voters, margin of error 4.6 percent.
The Greenville News, yet again, feels moved to point out that at 10 percent, with Romney at 13 percent, FredO is in a statistical dead heat for 3rd place! (God, they love FredO at the Greenville News.)
FredO promised a crowd yesterday in Simpsonville that his two children, I believe ages 2 and 4, would be joining him on the campaign trail today and added that "Somewhere, Strom Thurmond was smiling."
I swear, FredO said that. I guess Republicans think it's cool for a really old man to father children with a really young, pretty, busty blonde. Do not ask me why.
My personal contact report from candidates:
People knocking on my door in Greenville: 3 (2 for Ron Paul, 1 for FredO)
Flyers left on my car or front door: 2 (both for Ron Paul)
Mailed to my houses: 1 from John McCain, explaining that he didn't have a baby with a black woman, adopted an Indian orphan instead.
Phone calls: 1 from Hillary, 3 from Edwards, 1 push-poll yesterday trying to get me to like Huckabee. (No luck there.)
Yard signs: I don't think there's a single one in my neighborhood, which is definitely unusual. Yard signs around Greenville: Ron Paul is everywhere. Kind of scary. Still a decided lack of interest in Republican candidates.
Greenville News endorses: John McCain.
SC Governor endorses: No one, as kind of explained yesterday in an odd column in the Greenville News saying...it was historic to have Obama in the race.
