With all this FISA drama and the craziness of the campaigns getting at our last nerves, I thought it would be a good time to inject a little levity into our day.
Below are a few funny politically-related things I've tripped across today. Enjoy!
Thanks to HuffPo's collection of the horoscopes for our Presidential candidates this week, I found this gem:
Mitt Romney -- (Pisces, March 12, 1947) NY Post horoscope for January 28:
"Listen to your inner voice by all means but don't automatically do what it tells you. At this time of year more than most you need to take extra care when making decisions, especially if they are based more on emotion than common sense. Can you be sure you are thinking straight? You may need a second opinion."
I guess the Mittster would have benefitted from getting this advice before his "Who Let The Dogs Out" song, and when he said to a parent holding a baby "you got a lot of Bling Bling in here".
Mitt Romney on You Tube: open mouth, insert Bling Bling
Next, I found this wonderful ad for Giuliani, explaining why the ladies love him:
And, here's proof how they love him! "I've Got a Crush: on Giuliani". Love the ending of this one...
Here are a few gems from the late night talk shows last week:
From Jay Leno:
Today was a big day in Hollywood. The Academy Awards were announced. It looks a lot of Oscar buzz for 'No Country For Old Men,' which I think was also John McCain's campaign slogan.
From David Letterman:
I don't know if you heard this or not but Fred Thompson has dropped out of the presidential race... Fred spent all day packing the bags under his eyes.
And finally, if you need to get a little aggression out on this fine Monday, try your hand at
Presidential Paintball!
