Got your attention didn't it? I could be wrong and yes this is just a hunch but tomorrow is going to present us with some surprises. I could have said I have it on good authority but I'd be lying. I could tell you the fix is in but you'd know better but I want you to remember if Edwards picks up any delegates tomorrow you heard it here first.
First off New Orleans was where he started his campaign down in the ninth ward. He brought much needed attention to that area
John recognized the problems in Jena when the other candidates looked the other way.
Chapel Hill, North Carolina – Today, John Edwards issued the following statement about the rally in Jena, Louisiana:
"Today we are reminded where the true power in America lies. It's in places like Jena, Louisiana, where thousands of regular people of good conscience are standing up for the America we all believe in: an America where fairness, equality and opportunity are the birthright of every child.
"I applaud their courage and I hope that justice will be served. I pray that these young Americans look optimistically to the future, and that the community of Jena will find healing and peace."

He was a hit everywhere he went.
Democrats were fired up for John Edwards tonight! Louisiana is greatful for John Edwards and his continued support and focus on rebuilding.
Geaux Edwards our statewide One Corps and chapters from across the state came together tonight to welcome the Senator.
A huge thank you to all of the folks that came in from all over our state in support of Senator Edwards just hours before he was the keynote speaker at the annnual Jefferson Jackson dinner.

He was able to shine a light on the problems left unattended by the Bush administration.
I’d rather go down fighting for a cause I believe in than joining in a cause just because it’s trendy. Long after the 2008 election, we’ll still be down here in Louisiana fighting for social justice and trying to rebuild and renew New Orleans. Hopefully, we’ll have an ally in the White House.
The rebuilding and renewal of New Orleans isn't just symbolic -- it's a microcosm of what can happen all over the country. Hurricane Katrina didn't create the Crescent City's economic, educational and health care problems. Instead, Katrina exposed New Orleans' tremendous flaws to the world. The failure to improve New Orleans' economic, health care or educational systems has led to a vicious cycle of poverty. And the same thing is happening in Baltimore, Detroit and other great American cities.
As New Orleans goes, so goes the United States. And I, for one, am not going to let that happen. And neither will John Edwards.
So join me in supporting John Edwards in 2008. This is where it all begins.

and this after he had already suspended his candidacy
BATON ROUGE, Louisiana – "We applaud Sen. Edwards’ efforts in his campaign for president and appreciate the fact that he has given Louisiana a much needed national spotlight by beginning and ending his campaign here," said Louisiana Democratic Party Chairman Chris Whittington.
"Sen. Edwards has fought tirelessly for the rights and relief of the state’s poor as well as the entire Gulf Coast – something none of the Republican candidates have found to be an important issue in this race for president. The Republican agenda seems to be set on promising more of the same and bent on serving the country with a third Bush term rather than positive change.

Like I said, I could be all wrong, but I've just got a feeling about Louisiana. When you come down to all the surprises this campaign season, doing well tomorrow would be the icing on the cake and maybe, just maybe, John will get some press...
