By means of introduction I'm an Edwards dude (was I ever so sad to see his name at the top of my ballot... so sad) I lean Obama and if I'm totally honest, my more snide comments have probably been posted in Clinton posts.
Here's the rub. While a lot of folks are ready for "the new inevitable"; there's still a chance that Hillary and her team can fight for and win this. And if she does, there's going to be a whole lot of crow eating and reverse gloating (because there is currently a lot of name calling and gloating)
Neither side is on the moral high-ground and there is potential for either side to win this.
Anything can happen, and it doesn't help to have either side so hurt that we can't come together.
Obama could still win this. I don't think I need to make a case for this in the current DKOS environment.
Clinton could also still win this.
She could get win her firewall states; MI and FL could be seated; and the Supers could continue to support her. (Some my point to my Edwards roots as some misguided "wishful thinking" gene but I actually think this outcome is a possibility)
(By the way: I think that MI and FL should schedule primaries or caucuses and let their people's voices be heard in true democratic fashion.)
Really what I want to get across is that we need to be ready for either possibility. Either way the nomination goes, we're going to need to heal the emotional bruises we've thrown at each other and come together. And we've got to stop kicking each other in the teeth!
Like Meteor Blades posits, peace starts with each of us. We need to stop the nitpicking and the bitchy snidatudes.
(and my off topic side note is that the reason Edwards didn't do too well is because he didn't have a big "H" in his campaign.
(Hope, Hillary...

Healing)
It begins with each of us finding common ground and stopping the emotional abuse. Because we can't stray too far from the path or we'll have problems finding it again.
I'm sorry for the comments I've made which aren't on the path of building a bridge, or offering the olive branch.
I will do what it takes to get our big D in the White House. I don't want McCain, Huckabee, or whatever brokered convention surprise (Newt, zombie Reagan, whoever) there.
I want a super majority (and I want impeachments in the SCOTUS!) It it time to take back our country.
Peace (or continuing with the letter H theme... Harmony.)
