Matthews asks Gov. Doyle of WI, an Obama supporter, what has Obama accomplished in the Senate to revitalize the job front of the upper Midwest. Doyle visibly pauses and then comes up with ethics reform. Matthews later with Lanie Davis (sp?), a Clinton supporter, talks about how he got to Doyle with such a simple question, how Obama's great accomplishment was stopping lobbyists from sitting down to a meal with you but that standing up was OK.
The tide begins to turn. It may not be enough for Hillary, but now that the true media darling, John McCain, is in place, folks like Matthews will start asking more questions. When your supporters can't answer what you've done, you're not going to win a general election to the presidency.
