Critical questions on blogging
DemFromCT asks Are Blogs Becoming Respectable And Legitimate?
And he, like I and I would suppose the rest us, answers yes. Increasingly and inevitably so. Which raises critical questions on the standards, content and effectiveness of blogs, in ALL of their aspects. Tonight I shall ask you good and stalwart bloggers to answer some of the most pressing questions relating to blogging. Starting with....
Tonight's First Question: Standardization of Usage: When publishing a blog or essay or diary about one of the most important subjects on the blogs, should they be referred to as ...Pooties, Kitties, Kittehs, or just plain old cats?
Tonight's Second Question: Are pictures of cats truly incomplete without a clever caption, or do they stand the journalistic test on their own?
Tonight's Third Question: For purposes of the blogosphere, do Tigers qualify as cats and or Pooties?
Tonight's Fourth Question: Will the oppressed Tiger ever have it's own website with captioned pics, or are the destined to be the second class citizens of feline blogging?
Bonus Question: We HAVE the technology, why can't cat bloggers frikkin spell?
Tonight's Fifth Question: Is it ethical to publish a picture of a full size horse while using the phrase....have a pony?
Tonight's Sixth Question: Do we need a standards committee with the technical equipment to verify from blog posts whether said equine is a pony or an actual horse?
Tonight's Seventh Question: Dogs, blatantly discriminated against, or just not as cute?
Tonight's Eighth Question: What easily anthropomorphized critter will break in to big time blogging next?
Tonight's Random Answer: Today cheezburgers, tomorrow the world!
Tonight's Silly Question: Do you miss Phillygal as much as I do?
