It is amazing to me to see the sordid depths to which both the rabid right and the Clinton cabal will sink in throwing anything and everything at Barack Obama in hopes that something/anything will stick.
Here are just two current examples:
From the wingnut side on the WaPo web site, Ramesh Ponnuru acts as concern troll.
"I am very skeptical of the idea that Obama's candidacy will promote racial healing."
this is followed by a series of hypothetical 'what ifs' in an attempt to infer that Obama may set back the plight of African Americans by decades. Just sad...
From the Clinton camp on HuffingtonPost, comes Taylor Marsh on the 'plagiarism' canard:
Barack Obama isn't an original. He's the first 21st century L. Ron Hubbard of politics, Elmer Gantry, name your huckster.
"I have a dream" just became "I have a con."
Here we see an overwrought, last ditched attempt to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse. Equally sad...
I make no secret that I am an avid supporter of Barack Obama and this twisted logic of 'you can't vote for him because he may not be perfect' or 'you can't vote for him because he's just as bad as the rest of us' is really beginning to annoy me from both the repugs and the Clinton campaign.
Every time I see, read, or hear another of these types of desperate attacks on Obama it earns him another donation from me.
I choose the future, I choose hope, I choose Obama... YES WE CAN!!!
