Cindy McCain made some comments earlier today in Wisconsin. At least we know that she has an opinion. I guess she was trying to say in some veil way that Michelle Obama is not proud of her country or she hasn't been proud of her country in the past. I saw the video and I didn't it take that way. But I can see how other people might take it.
Here is the comments that Michelle Obama made yesterday in Wisconsin:
"What we have learned over this year is that hope is making a comeback. It is making a comeback. And let me tell you something -- for the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country. And not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change. And I have been desperate to see our country moving in that direction and just not feeling so alone in my frustration and disappointment. I've seen people who are hungry to be unified around some basic common issues, and it's made me proud."
Here is the comments that Cindy McCain made today in Wisconsin:
"I’m proud of my country. I don’t know about you – if you heard those words earlier – I’m very proud of my country.’’
Later, as Mr. and Mrs. McCain took questions, they were asked if she was referring directly to Mrs. Obama.
Mr. McCain said: "I don’t think we have any comment on that, do we? Do you have any comment?"
To which Mrs. McCain said, "I just wanted to make the statement that I have, and always will be, proud of my country.’’
If its going to be like this for the whole year with the back and forths and trying to score political points. Its going to be a long year. We still in the primary season.
