How sweet it is!
At an event in Burlington yesterday, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, the Ben & Jerry's founders and former John Edwards supporters, formally announced their support for Obama.
...Ben & Jerry and Leahy rode in customized Honda Elements they dubbed "ObamaMobiles," to American Flatbread, a Vermont-based "artisan pizza" company. No word on whether, among all discussion of Obama's commitment to affordable health care and getting children the "education they deserve," anyone in the party ordered American Flatbread's "Revolution" pizza. They were already handing out "Cherries for Change" ice cream, so perhaps there's a limit on symbolically freighted food.

I'm an Obama fan myself and will give out some of my company's Liberty Cookies and 'Stars and Stripes Forever' magnets to Obama supporters. Obama and his campaign of hope epitomize what our logo magnet illustrates: The infinite power and potential of American democracy.
If you want a free cookie and a magnet, contact my advocacy group http://www.Agilepeople.org . Agilepeople supports Barack's Patriot Corporation Act and the Employee Free Choice Act, which help protect the American Dream.
And if you live in the Washington D.C. area, Agilepeople is looking for volunteers to hand out magnets in front of the Senate where the Employee Free Choice Act has stalled. We are pressing the Senate to compromise on the EFCA by only passing Section 4 which adds penalties for labor law violations. Agilepeople feels that some labor reform is better than none, and that Obama and McCain's positions on labor rights should be highlit before the Presidential election. McCain opposes the Employee Free Choice Act, supposedly because of other provisions in the bill, and has crafted the "Secret Ballot Protection Act". The Secret Ballot Protection Act does away with the optional use of signature cards to organize an union and forces employees to submit to a lengthy and expensive government administered election. McCain's bill has little support even amoung Republicans because it is a big government solution to a non-existant problem.
Washington area activists who would be kind enough to hand out 'Stars and Stripes Forever' magnets and flyers on behalf of labor law reform for all Americans, please email to: info(at)agilepeople.org
