Wonderful, wonderful news from the Badger State.
What a great day, or rather what a great 48 hours. First, went to see Michelle, wow, didn't realize how tall she is. Wonderful to see that she's not some light skinned woman like Halle Berry or Beyonce (Donna Brazile in her autobiography "Cooking With Grease" talks about how much harder it is for darker skinned African-American women to succeed). Actually I found Michelle to be a little intimidating, she's so confident and successful. Such a commanding presence. But that's what it takes to get as far as she has.
Then those great results. I guess it's a clear path to the White House. I know that McCain's trying to show Obama as inexperienced, but hey Hillary tried that and look how far it got her. McCain's just going to trot out national security (don't the Republicans always do this?). But I don't think it's going to fly. It's been so long since 9/11, who is really that worried about a terrorist attack any more? Of course McCain will try to look strong, while making Obama look weak, but we know that Obama will surround himself with advisers who have national security experience. Anyway I'm sure Michelle has some good ideas how to handle the McCain attack machine.
