There was a time, not long ago, that I had deep respect and admiration for a man who's political opinions I merely disagreed with. That man is Senator McCain.
Here is what Senator Obama had to say about Pakistan.
"There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again. ..."
Correct.
"If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and [Pakistani] President Pervez Musharraf won't act, we will."
Nothing wrong with that... right?
1:45 into the video: "I will fight every moment of every day in this campaign to make sure Americans are not deceived by an eloquent but empty call for change"
Whew! Thank God. We all hate deception. Especially when irony is involved.
3:33 into the video: "Or will we risk the confused leadership of an inexperienced candidate who once suggested invading our ally, Pakistan"
Really... no seriously, REALLY? That's what he suggested? Or did you leave out the TERRORIST part on purpose.
So Senator McCain, are YOU saying if we had actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets in Pakistan..... and President Musharraf refused to act you'll put your tail between your legs and say, "OK, no problem"? THAT is what you're saying?
Tough on terrorism....
