Since yesterday, 33 people have been killed and an unknown number have been wounded in Israel and Gaza.
This total includes one Israeli citizen and 32 Palestinians, of whom 28 were killed in Gaza and four in the West Bank. The dead include nine children.
The dead children:
• Three boys, ages 10, 12, and 14 killed in an Israeli airstrike yesterday,
• A 6-month old baby killed in an Israeli airstrike on a government building in Gaza in which an additional 30 people were injured,
• Four children, all below the age of 16 and three from the same family, killed in an Israeli airstrike while they played soccer,
• A 12 year old neighbor who was injured in the same strike and subsequently died.
Additional attacks include:
• An Israeli airstrike on a car the killed two workmen according to Palestinian witnesses and two militants according to Israel.
• An Israeli airstrike killing two uniformed men in a truck which carried canned beverages according to Palestinian witnesses and rockets according to Israel.
• An Israeli airstrike on a roadblock which killed one and wounded four.
• An Israeli airstrike that killed a Hamas member in northern Gaza
• An Israeli airstrike that killed a Hamas member and wounded another person in northern Gaza
• An Israeli airstrike in Gaza City which killed two members of the Popular Resistance Committees
• An Israeli raid near Nablus in the West Bank which killed a member of the Popular Resistance Committee and a member of the Al Aqsa Martyr’s Brigade
• An Israeli airstrike in Gaza City which killed two members of Hamas
• An Israeli attack that killed a Palestinian man in an unknown manner near the Gaza border
• An Israeli raid into the West Bank which killed a Palestinian
• An Israeli airstrike in southern Gaza which killed five members of Hamas
• An Israeli airstrike in the Jabalya refugee camp that killed one Palestinian
• An Israeli raid into central Gaza that killed a member of Islamic Jihad
• An Israeli raid into Nablus that killed one Palestinian and wounded three others
• A Palestinian rocket strike on Sderot which killed an Israeli citizen
• A Palestinian rocket strike on Sderot which injured two Israeli citizens
• A Palestinian rocket strike on Ashkelon which wounded "several" Israeli citizens
