Lately, one of the main thrusts of the Obama campaign has centered around his claims to superior "judgment", anchored by his one speech opposing the War in Iraq. Since clonecone has decreed that I am a Hillary supporter, despite the fact that I really have never been a fan of the Senator from New York, I decided to take a closer look at Senator Obama's "judgment".
Obama's involvement with Antoin Rezko has not been shown by anyone, to my knowledge, to involve any criminality, but even Senator Obama has acknowledged that getting Rezko involved in his purchase of his house, at a time when it was well-known in Chicago that Rezko was under Federal investigation, was "bone-headed". Bone-headed is not a good starting point for "judgment".
HARTFORD, Conn. --U.S. Sen. Barack Obama rallied Connecticut Democrats at their annual dinner Thursday night, throwing his support behind mentor and Senate colleague Joe Lieberman.

Yeah, there's some "judgment" for you, though he did finally back Ned Lamont after the Democratic Primary, but he enthusiastically supported Lieberman FOR the nomination.
Remember the Cheney Energy Bill back in 2005?? Even John Fucking McCain voted against it. Senator Obama??
Yea. Wonderful judgment.
Remember the so-called Class Action Fairness Act of 2005?? The first major piece of legislation of Bush's second term?? Opposed by everybody except the Chamber of Commerce and "tort reformers"?? How did Senator Obama vote??
Yea. Superior judgment.
Reauthorize the USA Patriot Act?? Senator Obama-Yea.
Confirm Condoleeza Rice as Secretary of State?? Senator Obama-Yea.
Seems to me that one good call, when he didn't have to back it up with a vote, is a damned slim reed to base a claim to "judgment" on.
