Seton Hall > News & Events
Friday, February 29, 2008
by: Linda Karten
John C. Whitehead, the School of Diplomacy's namesake, and Ambassador Marc Grossman, the School's Tom and Ruth Sharkey endowed visiting scholar, worked closely together during the Reagan Administration. Whitehead was Deputy Secretary of State under George Shultz, and Grossman was his executive assistant and later went on to serve as Director General of the Foreign Service and U.S. Ambassador to Turkey.
On Monday, March 3 at 4 p.m., Whitehead and Grossman sit down together for an informal conversation about their compelling diplomatic careers and the challenges facing American foreign policy today.
Seton Hall students and faculty are welcome to join the conversation which will take place in the Diplomacy Room at McQuaid Hall.
