Last night in Obama's speech in Texas, he said that former Presidents from Kennedy to Reagan negotiated with enemy foreign leaders. He said that's what great Presidents do. First, Obama should stop mentioning Reagan in a positive light. Reagan was the enemy of the average working American. Second, Obama should stop slighting Bill Clinton and should stop ignoring and concealing his accomplishments. I do not understand why Obama thinks it is to his own advantage to start a war with Bill Clinton. He could give Bill Clinton the praise he deserves and still be regarded highly for his own talents. One of the Democrats' arguments for 2008 is the comparison of the Democrats vs. the Republicans in the handling of the economy and foreign policy. I do not think Obama would have anything to lose by changing his tactics in this regard. Also, it would be better for him to have Bill Clinton campaigning for him against McCain. Both candidates need to stick to jobs, mortgages, Social Security and the dollar. That's where the votes are, not in attacking the other.
