We've seen her bait hooks, bait and switch, and some even say she has crossed the line and become a master baiter. Yet, she has truly crossed the line with her ad which has changed Senator Obama's appearance in a shocking, disgusting, and terrible way.
Senator Clinton, you should be ashamed of this new low in baiting.
She's fat-bating.
Scroll down to the last two frames. See that? Do you see that?! She has made Obama appear wider! That evil, terrible, horrible woman!
Clearly, she intends to once again put Obama's weight on the stand in this trial. In doing so she wants Americans to remember that he is skinny, and they aren't. He is tall, and they aren't. She is reminding us that Obama isn't fat -- and we are.
We should stand up against such a terrible act of politics. Our voices should ring out as one as we state "No more fat-baiting!" Together, we must lift our hams high and demand equal respect no matter what weight, pant size, or how many X's we possess on our shirt tags.
And if you have taken my diary seriously, you are the person I am mocking. Is this really what matters most? I thought we were supposed to be progressing from these attacks of "He looks darker and wider, Clinton's evil!"
I think it is time that we, as a people, stand up and demand better from those who hold the reins and put out information to our electorate. We need to know their plans for Health Care, not who quoted whom. We need to know how we'll fix our education system, not which ad you think Republicans could use. We need to talk about how we get out of Iraq, not how we got into it.
Stop focusing on these things that have no meaning. Give our vote a true meaning so that in November, we can send a clear message to Republicans that they should be very, very afraid of an electorate that is intelligent, passionate, and united.
It's time we start demanding better from those who cover the campaigns. It's time we start demanding a real, honest discussion about our process.
If we do not change the discussion, no one else will. If we continue the discussion, then "change" is nothing more than a six letter word that looks great on campaign signs.
