Hillary and Obama are in a tie--a dead heat--let's end it with a "double flip".
I suggest--- and I hope at least 100,000 Kos's will support this--- that the candidates toss a coin (with a guarantee) that the winner heads the ticket for FOUR YEARS ONLY, then in 2012 the "loser" heads the ticket for the next four years. In 2016, we switch again, and then once more in 2020-- then the person who "lost" the first coin flip gets to win big by selecting the vice president that will succeed both of them . This is a win--double win proposition. Both canditates win, America wins bigger-- and the Repugs go down in history with a footnote like the Whigs.
Personally, if I were in the race, I would hope to lose the coin toss. Let someone else be responsible for getting us out of Iraq, for balancing the budget, setting up health care, repairing our image, and starting to pay the piper for the mistakes of Bushco. Working together, we should have more than 16 years of peace and prosperity.
Both candidates are well qualified, and America can't afford to lose either and/or both of them.
Please put a nickel in my tip jar if you think it is time to find a new solution. We need to end the campaigning now. The race is too tight, the goal is too big, and we shouldn't let them kill each other while McCain comes creeping out of the shadows.
