Both Democrats beat McCain
Obama: 278-260
Clinton 276-262
Survey USA released 50 state matchups against McCain for both Clinton and Obama. They also released national polling.
First, the national polls:
1,041 registered voters interviewed by SurveyUSA 03/05/08, following Clinton victories in Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island on 03/04/08.
Pairing #1:
* Clinton 48%
* McCain 46%
Pairing #2:
* Obama 46%
* McCain 46%
And the 50 state polls:
Based on interviews just completed by SurveyUSA.
600 registered voters interviewed in each of the 50 states, a total of 30,000 interviews.
They'll be releasing the key to the maps this afternoon, but the maps themselves are already out. I'll update this once they release the actual polls (presumably with cross tabs).
From eying it, Obama seems to have 2 more electoral votes than Clinton. Clinton has 276 electoral votes, and Obama has 278--both over the minimum of 270 needed to win! The two win very different sets of states. Let me know if I missed something.
Clinton: Florida (27), Pennsylvania (21), New Jersey (15), Arkansas (6), West Virginia (5) = 74
Obama: Washington (11), Oregon (7), Nevada (5), Colorado (9), North Dakota (3), Iowa (7), Michigan (17), New Hampshire (4), Virginia (13) = 76
