I have always been a Clinton (both of them) supporter, backer and defender. I supported her decision to stand by her man. I thought she would make a good president. But with her recent scorch and burn policies I have seen a side of her that in the past I refused to see or denied it existed. This is the Hillary of all the wing nut vitriol. This is the scorned woman than Proverbs spoke of. This is the Hillary that makes me question her character.
For any reasonable person it is now apparent Obama will win the Democratic nomination by every democratic means available, this has been evident for quite sometime. He even has a bigger lead in delegates than he stated the week with here, here and here. And his lead will certainly get even bigger next week after Wyoming and Mississippi. The time has come to withdraw from the race with some semblance of sportsmanship and class so that we can take back our country and defeat McBush in November.
Instead, we have gotten NAFTAgate (which now appear to be about her campaign), name calling, fear mongering 3 A.M. adds and pictures of Obama in Kenyan attire. She whines about Florida and Michigan then says "she will not accept caucuses" in those states. She loses Texas both total votes and delegates but proclaims victory (with help from MSM). To make matters even worse she has all but endorsed McCain over the likely nominee of her party, twice. Her resillency which I once took for character now appears to be nothing but what Gary Hart has called "raw, unrestrained ambition that cannot accept the will of the voters". The contrast in character is even more apparent with today's events. The name caller in the Obama camp is quickly dispatced but Wolfson's Kenneth Starr comment goes unpunished by HRC. I have seen enough! Hillary has brought the campaign back to politics as usual and if she somehow is able to cheat her way to the nomination I will have a hard time holding my nose and voting for her.
