According to TPM, in a private meeting on March 12th, Hillary Clinton gave a pep talk in which she predicted "We're gonna win this" Follow me over the fold for some insight into these Clinton strategy meetings.
Also according to TPM
fundraisers were given extensive presentations from top Hillary advisers and surrogates about strategy and about what needs to be done to win over super-delegates should she fail to close the pledged delegate gap
Her argument came down the the idea that to win this they have to talk the super delegates into considering
three "data points," as this fundraiser puts it, in considering whom to back: The pledged delegate count, the popular vote, and the specific states won by each candidate.
If any of us think this might come to an end any time soon, her own words to the attendees at these closed door meetings should be enough to encourage us to dig in and be ready to make calls and donate cash.
she said, "I'm a fighter, when I get knocked down, I get right up, we're gonna win this."
Not to be a cynic, I know that Obama has the math on his side, but I think the Clinton campaign believes it has its own special math for winning this thing and it looks a lot like this.
EDIT I- I changed it to Long division because she does seem to be determined to drag this out ad infinitum- Thanks Antirove
