Yesterday there was a diary that featured Bill Clinton's comments regarding the state of the race from an interview with ABC News.
In typical Clintonian fashion there was this nugget:
If we had the Republican system of winner take all in the big states then Hillary would have a prohibitive lead on the delegates because she won the preponderance of the big states. The Democrats decided and they set up this, and i think the dilemma that the Democrats are gonna have when all this is over.

I read that and I became angry; angry that they deal with losing in much the same way a child does. Reminds me of all the stories about George W. Bush who all throughout his life was such a sore loser in everything that if you beat him say in one-on-one basketball he would insist on continuing to play--until he beat you. Otherwise he was insufferable.
Do you really think Mr. President that Senator Obama would have ditched California on Friday morning February 1 (four days before Super-Tuesday) to spend the weekend in Boise and Wilmington, Delaware if it was winner-take-all? Why do you persist in such ridiculous formulations that make your wife's campaign look more feeble than it already is?
I challenge Kossacks however to help Bill Clinton see how absurd his formulation is. Let's play the what if game for Bill Clinton and see how many gems we can come up with. I want to compile 500 great what-ifs and send them to the Clinton campaign and the former president himself.
I will start with a few myself:
- If an NFL game was only 55 minutes the New England Patriots would have easily won Super Bowl 42!
- If I had sold all my Apple Stocks when they were $204 a share I would not be so broke now.
You get the picture....I know you guys can do better than those that I came up with. Let's help Bill Clinton see the errors of his ways. Thanks Kossacks........
UPDATE
