The pattern is there. It is no wonder that Michelle Obama recently said "for the first time in my life, I am proud of this country." It's clear both she and Barack have been brainwashed by the same pastor they have been going to for the last 20 years.
The bottom line is that non-black Americans are not going to support a candidate that has the endorsement of angry blacks who blame white people and blame this country for their shortcomings. What the Rev. Jeremiah Wright did was a million times worse than what Geraldine Ferraro said or what Pastor John Hagee, who is supporting John McCain, said. I also believe that Ned Lamont, who ran against Joe Lieberman, lost the election at least partly because he had Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton standing behind him on primary night.
The only way to heal this country's racial divisions is for blacks to stop being so angry and stop using slavery and other past discriminations with the purpose to put whites on guilt trip. Otherwise, candidates who run for high office with their support will lose elections. This just goes to show that angry blacks have been a liability to the Democratic Party and that they need to suppress their anger if they don't want their favorite candidates to lose elections.
As far as I'm concerned, this set-back that Barack Obama now faces will be permanent and there is nothing he can say or do to turn back the tide against him. The fact that he and his wife knowingly went to see this racist pastor for 20 years knowing that he makes inflammatory statements doesn't make Obama look good.
As a result of this oversight, Hillary Clinton will be the nominee and John McCain will win the election.
Thanks a lot, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. You just set the Democratic Party back a million years.
